Welcome to the website of Alisby Publishing, which has been set up to publish the books of Simon Alisby starting with “The McTavish Girls”, the first book in a series of four.
The McTavish Girls is set in the Scottish Highland community of Jualth (Pron, Jewell-ff). Subsequent books jump between the Scottish Highlands, London and, latterly, Cornwall. Each book will have either two or three timelines and feature tales about the community – including the mystery behind its desire and ability to remain isolated – that stretch back over six centuries. Throughout, and via struggle, romance and acts of vengeance, the McTavish women and their spirits will never be far from the centre.
